Now that you know how to make dry gravy mix, I want to show you how to make diy taco seasoning.
I use this A LOT- and until I learned this recipe, I used to buy this in bulk at the warehouse store for big money. This saves me about 10 bucks when I make it in bulk.
This is a pretty easy little project as far as recipes go.
I tend to make a big batch of this once a year or so – more if I happened to visit a sams or costco for the spices.
It is nice to have a mason jar (with a Parmesan lid) full of this DIY Taco seasoning mix.
How to Make a DIY Taco Seasoning Mix
Ingredients:
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Teaspoon garlic powder
- Teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- Salt, pepper, cayenne pepper to taste
To make this diy taco seasoning simply mix and store in a cool dry place (a mason jar with a parm lid seems perfect)
Each batch here will replace 1 taco seasoning packet in your recipes.
Make a lot and then just add 5 tsp each time you make a batch of tacos.
