Beretta Firearm Manuals

The first handgun I ever owned was a Beretta, I bought it while on terminal leave from the Marines because I had to have a pistol like the one I had in the service. I got rid of it, but I wish I still had it.

The only gun I regret disposing of more was the Sig P240 I traded for my first ex-wife’s engagement ring.

I got the WRONG end of that one.

While I share all these Beretta firearm manuals, let me pass on some trivia – most people don’t know how much weapon exports fund the economy of Italy.  They are the worlds largest exporter of landmines.  They don’t use them much, they just sell the fire out of them.

Per wikipedia: Fabbrica d’Armi Pietro Beretta is a privately held Italian firearms manufacturing company operating in several countries. Its firearms are used worldwide for a variety of civilian, law enforcement, and military purposes. Sporting arms account for three-quarters of sales; Beretta is also known for marketing shooting clothes and accessories. Founded in the 16th century, Beretta is the oldest active manufacturer of firearm components in the world. In 1526 its inaugural product was arquebus barrels; by all accounts Beretta-made barrels equipped the Venetian fleet at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571. Beretta has supplied weapons for every major European war since 1650.

Beretta’s sister company, Beretta USA Corp., located in the United States, manufactured and delivered over 600,000 M9 pistols to the United States Armed Forces starting in 1985. It lost the contract in 2017.
