I used to teach the class whose book is listed to the left. So I am familiar with the PDF of the day; The Emergency Response to Terrorism Study Guide.
Beside the Federal Radiological Terrorism course I took in Vegas, the best Homeland Security Course I ever got to take was at New Mexico Tech, the Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings (IRTB) Course. That course included information on the recognition of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs); terrorist organizations, both foreign and domestic; and lessons learned from past terrorist incidents.
I could not have made it through the instructor course if I had not already had a base understanding of the material from documents like the Emergency Response to Terrorism Study Guide below.
I believe that FEMA, through its independent study program still has a free online course that citizens like yourself can take to better prepare yourself for domestic terror attacks. Unfortunately, I fear we will have more, not less of these types of emergencies as the world becomes more decisive and angry.
I believe that the FEMA courses are one of the best ways a prepper can quickly get up to speed on disaster preparedness. When I worked in the Emergency Management Field I was proud of the fact that I had completed every single one of the courses.
