Radiation Physics & Bomb Phenomenology (1956) is an Old Civil Defense Technical Bulletin.
To be specific it is appendix 7 of TB 11- 22 of June 1956.
This bulletin describes the structure of an atom, how its energy is released in a nuclear weapons, and methods of both detection and measurement of nuclear radiation.
I have a lot of old information on Nuclear Radiation. The information is interesting, and started collecting it when I worked in the Fixed Nuclear Facilities Program, but now that we the little guy from Gangnam Style keeps threatening us with Nuclear weapons.
It is think it’s time to dust off the information.
I also have a pretty good post on what is radiation.
