If you are going to keep livestock then you must invest in at least one comprehensive veterinary Guide. If you cannot prevent and identify animal disease you will find yourself broke and without animals to raise.
Personally, I keep several such guide, some – like this one are comprehensive, others are breed specific. I use them as reference and to help plan future livestock acquisitions.
