Like the Gear Review category, the Book Review section is not the focus of Dave’s Homestead. However, as a avid reader I kept buying books that looked great online, but did not have any real information.

As an author, I know how hard it is to write books with great information.  Consequently I began to add book reviews to Dave’s Homestead.  Hopefully this will prevent you from wasting space in your library with the wrong book.

Generally, if it is a bad book I simply don’t give it space here.  I rather show great book review articles so you can get the best book.

In almost every case I purchased the book reviewed with my own funds.  I rarely review books that were offered to me at a discount.  When I do so, it is clearly listed in the article.
